Job Description

Responsibilities

  •  Represent the interests of the company in a transparent and accountable manner
  • Build and maintain long-lasting relationships with donors and other stakeholders
  • Mobilize resources to run all operations in the country
  •  Identify and create sales opportunities and services that appeal to institutional partners
  • Manage the company’s operations in Tanzania in line with the organization’s strategy
  • Prepare country operational plans and budget implement and evaluate
  • Manage grants effectively
  • Prepare reports for internal and external purposes
  • Lead, motivate and mentor the team of Roadside Wellness Centres (Blue Box clinics) ensuring they have clear work plans and objectives
  • Develop ways to improve customer experience and build brand loyalty

Qualifications and experience

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in development studies from a recognized university. Postgraduate qualifications desired
  • Over 5 years of experience in managing development projects
  • Proven ability to prepare winning proposals
  • General management experience
  • Excellent communication skills including written and spoken English
  • Analytical thinker with superior problem-solving skills
  • Knowledge of computer software programs e.g. Word, Excel, etc
  • Experience with budgeting and financial management
  • Experience in and understanding of the healthcare sector in sub-Saharan Africa would be an asset
